Welcome to The Ambient Desk. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our online store and any purchase you make. By browsing or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

About our store

The Ambient Desk sells ambient and desk lighting products. We operate as a small online retailer. Products are fulfilled by third-party suppliers and partner warehouses (dropshipping). When you place an order, we pass fulfillment details to those partners so they can pack and ship your items.

Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to place an order. By ordering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

Products and descriptions

We describe products accurately to the best of our ability, using supplier information and our own review. Colors, finishes, and dimensions may vary slightly due to lighting, screens, or manufacturing differences. If something arrives materially different from what was described, contact us and we will work with you under our Refund Policy.

Pricing and payment

All prices are listed in USD unless otherwise stated. Prices and availability may change without notice. Payment is collected at checkout through Shopify and its payment partners. An order is an offer to purchase; we may decline or cancel an order (for example due to stock, pricing error, or suspected fraud) and will notify you if we do.

Shipping and delivery

Orders are processed and shipped according to our Shipping Policy. Typical delivery windows are longer than same-day or next-day retail; please review estimated windows disclosed at checkout before you buy. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier delivers the package (or according to applicable law).

Returns and refunds

Returns, replacements, and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Please read it before purchasing.

Intellectual property

Store content—including text, images, logos, and design—belongs to The Ambient Desk or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse it for commercial purposes without permission.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Ambient Desk and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the store or any product purchase. Our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed by law. Indemnity
